Project Overview

An enterprise in Guangxi specializing in the production of special calcium products decided to invest in a technologically advanced slaked lime production line. The project requires slaked lime powder with Ca(OH)₂ content of 90%~98%, moisture content ≤1%, adjustable fineness from 200 to 325 mesh, and 325-mesh passing rate ≥90%. After comprehensive screening, the customer finally introduced the GK calcium hydroxide production line equipment from Guilin Mining Machinery.

Project Details

Large limestone lumps are coarsely crushed by a jaw crusher and classified by a vibrating screen to ensure uniform feed size for the kiln. The calcination vertical kiln adopts an automatic control system to precisely regulate calcination temperature and time, producing high-activity quicklime (CaO).

The calcined quicklime is proportioned with water accurately by a constant feeder and sent into the GK lime slaker for efficient preliminary slaking. Afterwards, materials go through homogenization silo for homogenization treatment, then enter the aging silo for sufficient aging of 48~72 hours, guaranteeing that the slaked calcium hydroxide has Ca(OH)₂ content of 90%~98% and moisture content ≤1%.

The slaked lime is fed into the GK lime mill for fine grinding. The ground slaked lime powder is sent to the classifier for precise classification. Frequency conversion adjustment enables stepless switching of fineness between 200 and 325 mesh. Unqualified coarse slaked lime powder returns to the mill for regrinding to ensure the 325-mesh passing rate ≥90%.
