Project Overview

To meet the stringent requirements for high-quality coal powder in modern coal chemical industry and blast furnace injection processes, a large energy and chemical enterprise in Shanxi decided to upgrade its original system. The project requires the coal powder fineness to steadily reach 200 mesh (D90), and the system must feature extremely high safety and reliability. After comprehensive evaluation of safety records, operating energy consumption and other factors, the enterprise finally chose Guilin Mining Machinery and adopted the GKLM vertical roller mill equipped with a dust collection system featuring multiple explosion-proof designs.

Project Details

Bituminous coal raw material is fed into the GKLM vertical roller mill in a sealed and continuous manner through an enclosed constant feeder for grinding. Stepless speed regulation of the classifier enables precise control of coal powder fineness to meet the 200 mesh (D90) standard. Qualified coal powder is then carried by airflow into the cyclone dust collector, where most finished coal powder is efficiently separated and collected to reduce the load of the subsequent dust remover. Deep purification is performed by the explosion-proof dust collector afterwards.
