400,000 TPY Slag Powder Production Line in Shandong

Project Overview

To actively respond to the national "Dual Carbon" strategy and promote high-value recycling of industrial solid waste, a building materials company under a large iron and steel group in Shandong invested in a large-scale green and environmentally friendly slag powder production line. The core objective of the project is to produce high-quality S95 grade slag powder in a large-scale and clean manner. After comprehensive comparison of technology, energy consumption and operational stability among multiple domestic mill suppliers, Guilin Mining Machinery was finally selected, with large GKLM vertical roller mill adopted as the core grinding equipment solution.

Project Details

Slag material is fed into the GKLM vertical roller mill by a constant feeder for grinding. The ground slag powder rises with airflow to the classifier at the top for separation. Coarse slag powder failing to meet the requirement of 325 mesh (S95) is thrown down by classifier blades and returns to the grinding table for regrinding. Qualified slag powder is carried out by airflow into the dust collection system, separated and collected under centrifugal force, and finally discharged as finished slag powder through the discharge valve.

Eco-friendly: The whole production line adopts negative pressure closed design. No dust escapes during feeding, grinding, classification, collection and discharging. Dust emission concentration is far below national ultra-low emission standards.
