Project Overview

A high-tech enterprise with high-quality talc resources in Shandong decided to build a modern advanced ultra-fine talc powder production line. The project requires processing ultra-fine powder of 800~1250 mesh while maximally preserving the unique platy crystal structure of talc, so as to guarantee the reinforcing, toughening and barrier properties of finished ultra-fine talc powder in application. After rigorous screening of technical proposals from multiple mill manufacturers, the customer finally selected Guilin Mining Machinery’s GKLM ultra-fine vertical roller mill as the core grinding equipment.

Project Details

Talc stored in the raw material silo is evenly fed into the GKLM ultra-fine vertical roller mill for grinding by a belt feeder. In view of talc’s characteristics of low hardness and easy grinding, the equipment can achieve efficient grinding with low energy consumption and retain the unique platy crystal structure of talc. The ground talc powder enters a precision classifier for fine separation, enabling flexible adjustment of ultra-fine talc powder within the 800~1250 mesh range with concentrated particle size distribution. Qualified ultra-fine talc powder is then separated and collected by the dust collection system.
