150,000 TPY Barite Grinding Production Line in Guangxi

Project Overview

A mining company with high-quality mineral resources in Guangxi decided to build a large-scale barite powder production line. To meet the stable demand for high-quality barite powder in the oil drilling industry, the project sets strict requirements for finished powder: BaSO₄ content ≥95%, specific gravity >4.2 and fineness of 325 mesh. After comprehensive inspection and comparison, the customer finally chose Guilin Mining Machinery and built the grinding production line with GK1850 Raymond Mill as the core equipment.

Project Details

Dried barite material is fed by the feeder into the main grinding body of the GK1850 Raymond Mill for grinding and crushing. Barite features relatively high hardness. Core grinding components such as grinding rollers and grinding rings adopt high wear-resistant alloy materials to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment and prevent iron contamination, thus guaranteeing BaSO₄ content of finished barite powder no less than 95%. The ground barite powder is pneumatically conveyed to the classifier by fan airflow. With precise regulation, only barite powder of 325 mesh and finer can enter the collection system.

The cyclone collector recovers most fine barite powder, while the pulse baghouse dust collector captures ultrafine barite powder and purifies residual dust. The whole process is carried out in a sealed negative-pressure environment, effectively preventing the mixing of soluble salts and ensuring soluble salt content of finished barite powder below 1%.
