Belt Conveyor
Belt Conveyor Features & Advantages
Long-distance Conveying: Compared with other conveying equipment, the belt conveyor consumes less energy and delivers better economy for long-distance and large-volume horizontal transportation.
Smooth Conveying: Flexible contact between belt and materials ensures stable operation with low material breakage rate. Its noise level is much lower than that of chain or screw conveyors.
Automatic Control: It can work with belt scales and other equipment to realize quantitative and uniform feeding, facilitating automatic control of grinding production lines.
Simple Structure: Featuring simple structure and mature technology, it allows easy routine maintenance and replacement of wearing parts. It can be seamlessly integrated with iron separators to improve powder purity.
Working Principle of Belt Conveyor
Friction Drive: The motor and rollers drive the belt, which circulates by friction. The tail tensioning device keeps the belt taut to prevent slipping.
Continuous Conveying: Materials fall onto the belt through the feeding inlet and are transported forward supported by idlers to achieve smooth and uninterrupted transportation.
Automatic Discharging: Materials naturally fall off at the head roller and enter the next equipment via the discharge outlet. The empty belt returns to the starting point along the bottom idlers to form a continuous process cycle.
