Powder Dryer
Powder Dryer Features & Advantages
Large Throughput: The dryer handles several tons up to hundreds of tons of materials per hour, compatible with medium and large-scale grinding production lines.
Powerful Drying Performance: The uniquely designed flight plate system inside the cylinder continuously lifts and drops materials to form a uniform material curtain for full and efficient heat exchange with hot air. It is suitable for granular materials and delivers outstanding drying results for sticky or lumpy materials such as clay and slag.
Uniform & Stable: Materials are constantly turned and tossed inside the drum to achieve dynamically uniform heating. It effectively prevents local over-drying or uneven moisture commonly seen in static drying, ensuring consistent and stable moisture content of finished products.
Convenient & Flexible: Multiple adjustable parameters including drum rotation speed, hot air temperature and feed rate (material bed thickness). It flexibly and precisely adapts to varying initial moisture, powder specifications and output changes with great process compatibility.
Working Principle of Powder Dryer
Cylinder Rotation: With cylinder rotation and internal flight assemblies, materials are tossed to form an even material curtain for sufficient convective heat exchange with incoming high-temperature hot air.
Gradient Dehydration: Surface moisture of materials vaporizes first upon heating. Driven by temperature gradient and concentration gradient, internal moisture diffuses toward the surface to realize continuous dehydration from inside out.
Hot Air Drying: Water vapor generated by evaporation is promptly carried away from the drying zone by flowing hot air, maintaining a low-humidity environment inside the cylinder and guaranteeing drying efficiency.
