Project Overview
A new building materials enterprise in Hunan decided to invest in a granite sand making production line. The project requires production of sand products in various specifications as well as recycling of tail powder to realize "simultaneous collection of sand and powder, turning waste into treasure". After comprehensive evaluation, the customer selected the GKS sand making machine from Guilin Mining Machinery together with a cyclone collector. Project Details
Granite materials stored in the raw material silo are fed into the GKS sand making machine for crushing and shaping by a belt feeder to produce high-quality aggregates meeting the requirements for stone-like coatings. The mixed materials after sand making flow into the square swinging screen and are precisely screened into finished sand in four target grades: 20~40 mesh, 40~60 mesh, 60~80 mesh and 80~120 mesh.
Fine powder (tail powder) naturally generated during sand making is efficiently recovered by the cyclone collector. Without further processing, the tail powder reaches 325 mesh in fineness and can be directly sold as high-quality filler to putty powder manufacturers to generate additional revenue.
