Project Overview

A modern chemical enterprise in Hunan decided to build a calcium hydroxide production line with high resource utilization rate. The core goal of the project is to realize efficient conversion from quicklime to high-value-added 325-mesh calcium hydroxide powder. After comprehensive evaluation on slaking efficiency, classification precision and tailings treatment capacity, the customer finally chose Guilin Mining Machinery and adopted the GK calcium hydroxide production line solution of "two-stage deep slaking + precise classification + tailings grinding".

Project Details

Limestone raw materials enter the GK lime slaker for preliminary rapid slaking, then go into the customized two-stage slaking system for sufficient curing and deep slaking. The slaked calcium hydroxide is sent to the GK calcium hydroxide powder separator for precise classification, directly separating finished calcium hydroxide powder meeting the 325-mesh fineness standard. The tail powder and tailings generated from classification are recovered and fed into the GK lime mill for deep grinding, processed into calcium hydroxide powder that satisfies the 325-mesh requirement.

Project Advantages

High Utilization Rate: Qualified 325-mesh calcium hydroxide powder is directly extracted by the powder separator. Unqualified tailings are further ground in the lime mill and fully converted into finished powder, achieving nearly 100% raw material conversion rate with remarkable economic benefits.

Deep Slaking: The lime slaker adopts a two-stage slaking system to ensure full and uniform reaction of quicklime, producing high-activity calcium hydroxide with high specific surface area from the source.
