30,000 TPY Calcium Carbonate Ultra-fine Grinding Production Line in Guangxi
Core Equipment:2 sets of GKLM Ultrafine Vertical Mill
Processed Materials:Marble (≤10 mm)
Production Output:4-6 t/h
Powder Fineness:800-1250 mesh
Two sets of GKLM ultra-fine vertical mills operate in excellent coordination and stability. The produced powder of 800~1250 mesh features a narrow particle size distribution, fully complying with the core raw material standards for artificial engineered stone.

Project Overview
A high-tech enterprise focusing on deep mineral processing in Guangxi decided to invest in a calcium carbonate ultra-fine grinding production line for the high-end artificial engineered stone sector. The project aims not only to produce 800~1250 mesh ultra-fine powder, but also to achieve in-situ surface modification to endow the product with key properties such as low oil absorption value and high dispersibility. After strict selection of technical proposals from many grinding mill manufacturers, the customer finally adopted the integrated solution of "two parallel ultra-fine vertical mills + integrated modification" provided by Guilin Mining Machinery.
Project Details
Crushed marble material is vertically conveyed by elevator to the raw material silo, then evenly fed into the GKLM ultra-fine vertical mill for grinding and crushing via belt feeder. The ground calcium carbonate powder is carried by airflow into the precision classifier for sorting. By precisely adjusting the classifier rotation speed, the fineness of calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder is controlled within 800~1250 mesh. Unqualified coarse calcium carbonate powder is separated and returned to the grinding zone for regrinding to form a closed-circuit circulation.
Qualified calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder is then separated and collected by the dust collection system. The collected finished calcium carbonate ultra-fine powder enters the surface activation equipment and undergoes modification treatment by adding surface activator, so that the finished powder boasts excellent characteristics including low oil absorption value, good dispersibility and long-lasting anti-settling performance.
Project Advantages
High Output & Stability: Adopting the parallel configuration of two GKLM ultra-fine vertical mills, the system output is guaranteed at 4~6t/h. Maintenance on one single mill will not interrupt continuous production.
Superior Quality: Equipped with high-precision turbine classifier, the system can stably produce 800~1250 mesh (D97) ultra-fine powder for long-term operation with narrow particle size distribution.
Modification Upgrade: The production line innovatively connects ultra-fine grinding and surface modification processes seamlessly, upgrading products from simple "fillers" to "functional materials" and greatly increasing added value.
