Project Overview

A professional non-metallic material processing enterprise in Henan needed to build a high-yield, energy-saving and flexible perlite grinding production line. The core requirement of the project was to stably produce perlite powder of various specifications within 200~325 mesh and reduce overall energy consumption. After multiple comparisons, the customer selected a complete system with Guilin Mining Machinery’s 5R4128 Raymond Mill as the core equipment.

Project Details

Perlite material stored in the raw material silo is fed into the 5R4128 Raymond Mill for grinding and crushing by a belt feeder. In view of the brittle and friable characteristics of perlite, the Raymond Mill can achieve efficient crushing with low energy consumption. The ground perlite powder is conveyed by fan airflow into the classifier for precise classification. Coarse perlite powder that fails to meet the 200~325 mesh fineness requirement is separated and falls back into the grinding chamber for re-grinding, while qualified fine perlite powder enters the cyclone powder collector along with airflow for gas-solid separation.

The separated and collected finished perlite powder is horizontally transported to the elevator via a plate chain conveyor, and finally vertically delivered by the elevator to the finished product silo.
