50,000 TPY Bauxite Grinding Production Line in Henan

Project Overview

To tackle the processing challenge of high-moisture bauxite, a refractory materials enterprise in Henan introduced the GK1620 Raymond Mill from Guilin Mining Machinery. Combined with a sealed drying system, it successfully converts bauxite raw material with 15% water content into high value-added 200-mesh bauxite powder, with an output up to 10 t/h.

Project Details

Bauxite ton bags are transported to the enclosed drying room by forklift, then manually unbagged to discharge materials into mobile drying boxes. The drying boxes loaded with bauxite are placed on fixed drying racks for drying treatment, which steadily reduces the water content of bauxite material from 15% to 2%, with each batch taking approximately 10 hours.

The dried bauxite material is hermetically fed into the GK1620 Raymond Mill for grinding and crushing through a pipeline pneumatic conveying system, with no dust leakage throughout the whole process. The ground bauxite powder enters the classifier along with airflow for precise classification. 200-mesh fine bauxite powder flows into the cyclone collector as finished product, while coarse bauxite powder is thrown back into the grinding chamber for regrinding to form a closed-circuit circulation.

Residual dust in the system is then sent to the pulse baghouse dust collector for recovery and purification. Finally, finished products are packed by a fully sealed ton bag packaging system.

Project Advantages

Efficient Drying: A custom-designed drying system is developed for bauxite with 15% high moisture, which can steadily reduce moisture to 1~2%, supplying qualified dry materials for subsequent efficient grinding.

Sealed & Dust-free: From drying, pneumatic conveying, grinding, collection to ton bag packaging, the whole line adopts negative-pressure sealed design to completely eliminate dust escape during production.

Stable Operation: The drying system and GK1620 Raymond Mill are seamlessly connected via pipeline pneumatic conveying, delivering a stable output of 10 t/h.
